After spending months denying their romance, singers Chris Brown and Rihanna are getting serious... about their gift giving. According to OK! magazine, C Bizzle recently spent $100,000 on two ruby and diamond necklaces for his 20-year-old pop star girlfriend. Rihanna reportedly returned the thought with a blinged out cross pendant necklace for Brown.

“Rihanna gave specific instructions about Chris’ gift,” designer Jason Arasheben told OK!. “She was very particular about wanting the cross to match his other jewelry.

The jeweler also sold 19-year-old Chris the gift for his Barbados-born beauty.
“He went for the heart theme,” Arasheben explained. “He said, ‘She’s going to love this because she loves hearts.’”

Curious as to who's house address that is? Well, if you were an avid watcher of the long running NBC comedy 'The Cosby Show' (like myself :) ) then you would know that is the address of the Cosby house. Bill's daughter Erin is auctioning off the sweaters worn by Heathcliff Huxtable (played by Bill Cosby) in an auction to raise money for her the charity fund in her brother Ennis' name, who prior to starting doctoral studies was murdered in Los Angeles in 1997.

The auction is scheduled for June 2-12, with minimum bids set at $5,000.

If I had that kind of money laying around, I'd be all over this. I'm such a Cosby fanatic it's ridiculous. And those of you who arent big on the show, check your local listings, re-runs are on every week day. Who knows, you may see him wearing one the sweaters on the show that are currently on the block.

BABYFACE and his dancer girlfriend Nikki Patenburg are expecting a new baby.

Kenneth `Babyface’ Edmonds is set to become a dad again - his dancer girlfriend is pregnant with his third child. The singer/songwriter, 50, has two sons with ex-wife Tracey Edmonds. Sources insist Babyface and his 35-year-old partner, Nikki Pantenburg, have no plans to wed. The baby is due at the end of 2008.

FIDDYS HOUSE BURNS TO THE GROUND

Rapper 50 Cent's Long Island, NY home burned to the ground last night in what is reportedly being labeled an arson “because of the intensity of the fire, and also being that who belongs to the house,” according to an article in today's NY Post.

According to the article.....

The blaze occurred just days after a heated confrontation inside the woman’s attorney’s office over the home. 50 Cent does not live in the home and apparently wasn’t there at the time.

Six people including the rapper's ex Shaniqua Tompkins and their 10-year-old son Marquise, were inside the Dix Hills home and were taken to a hospital suffering smoke inhalation. Police later said they were treated and released. A firefighter also suffered a minor eye injury, officials said.

Investigators from the Suffolk County arson squad were called to the scene after Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld deemed the blaze suspicious. The fire was reported at 4:59 a.m. and was extinguished about 45 minutes later, Feld said.

CODE NAME...THE CLEANER

...Cuz Kimora done cleaned up house over at Baby Phat and Phat Fashions. Rumor has it that Kimora has fired long-time publicist BJ Coleman (shown about with Vanessa Simmons, Kimora's niece) and faithful employee James (both regulars on her Fab Lane series on The Style Network) from both franchises. The two have been with Kimora for years and when asked of an insider close to Kimora why she would fire such loyal employees, they responded with "She's just like that."

The shock rocked the fashion industry as folks struggled to try and figure out the business savvy behind that one. But allegedly, the reasoning behind the hack was that Kimora got wind that both were interviewing elsewhere, therefore forfeiting whatever loyalty or non-compete clause they were under.

Man, I would hate to get on that chick's bad side....

Folks over at The YBF caught up with James and asked if the rumor as true and he responded

"Yes, it’s true. I’m no longer with Baby Phat or Phat Fashions."

And when asked if this came as a surprise he says:

TASTY TV : TYRA'S NEW SHOW STYLISTA

Seems Ms. TYRA has got a new business venture. A show called Stylista. Tyra's "Stylista" follows fashion fans as they compete for a job at Elle magazine, according to Variety.

According to sources, Banks and Mok are executive producing the series along with Eli Holzman, Desiree Gruber and Jane Cha. Mok’s 10 by 10 Ent., Banks’ Bankable shingle and Magic Molehill will produce with Warner Horizon.

Also, the "Girlfriends" spin-off "The Game" will return for a third season and pair up with "Everybody Hates Chris" in a Friday lineup the CW reports.

RAY J THROWN OUT OF THE HYATT

RAY J was reportedly thrown out of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in D.C according to TMZ. The reason you ask.... well, they found drug stuff in his room after security was called because of the loud noise coming from the room. Allegedly he had a stash of marijuana and a club drug called "boat" stashed up in there. When asked to leave the premises, Ray J pitched a fit and his own people had to come and escort him out of the building.

Wondering where Ray J stayed... oh don't fret, the Holiday Inn had plenty of room for Ray and his entourage. Reps for the singer say that this did not affect Ray J personally, that it belonged to some folks in his crew.

TERRANCE HOWARD THREATENS TO MURDER DAUGHERS BOYFRIEND

TERRANCE HOWARD is sounding like a lot of fathers we know with precious little girls. When he caught wind that his 15-year old daughter Aubry was dating a classmate that he didnt approve of he uhmm... intervened ( for lack of a more appropriate word) and told her she had to get rid of him.

WENN reports that:

He says, "She's supposedly in love with some guy. I made her break up with him and I've threatened to kill him. I was like, you picked a green fruit from the tree that's far from ripe." And Howard ensures he keeps a tight-leash on his beloved kids - warning Aubrey she will be cut out of any future inheritance if she is not "obedient". He tells his daughter, "I've set a lot of things aside for you, but those things are only yours as long as you're obedient to me."

However, the actor has put a crafty plan into action to make sure the teenager doesn't fall back into her unsuitable relationship. He adds, "She's OK now. Though, I'm sure he's still kind of her boyfriend. This summer I'll take her off to another country where her phone won't work, and he'll start dating someone else."

Yea so..... I so believe him and hopefully for both thier sakes, she dates someone she approves of. But I have to say, excluding her from inheritance because of a dating choice... hmm, that sounds so de-progressive. For now, okay shes 15 not really an ideal age to be dating but who says 10 years from now he wont be trying to pick her husband. Anyway, he's still sexy even if he is a little off in the head

SEPARATION RUMORS SQUASHED

BENNY MEDINA manager to Usher, Tyra Banks and many others has released an official statement squashing the rumor that Usher and Tameka have filed for legal separation.

"It's 100% not true. Usher and Tameka are currently traveling in Europe together as a family on his promotional tour. This rumor is completely false."

Also, Hot 107.9 midday radio diva Mz Shyneka spoke with Tameka Foster Raymond yesteraday regarding the rumors that her and hubby Usher have split. Her exact words to Mz Shyneka were: “All my haters wish that on us but it’s not true at all. We are happy!”

Well there you have it... straight from the horses mouth. All I'm saying is, when TMZ does an exclusive with the separation papers, I'll be over here shaking my head saying I told you so. Something doesn't sit right with me about those two but... for now, I wish them happiness.

USHER DISHES ON MARRIAGE & FATHERHOOD

USHER recently was a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show giving not only dance lessons but life lessons as learned by the Burn-man himself. When asked about what he thinks about being a father Ursh says:

"He is my reason for living, As an African-American, to be there for my child is so important when there are so many young African-American kids without their fathers. I just want him to grow up to be as wise as he can possibly be, kind and open hearted. [Fatherhood] changes everything about me."

When asked about his wife Tameka he says "She's built up ... the foundation of who I am. I want to see more men standing with their women. I want to see more men be open and honest about where they are in life." You know, I want badly to believe that, but as stank as she acts in public I'm just not so sure if I can put my stock in that one Ursh.

Usher appears to be happier than ever and promoting his most "amazing project to date" just seals the deal. I'll just say this though -- I wont be surprised if I see him on Divorce Court like Gary Coleman was.

NEWLY LEAKED: LL COOL J FEATURING LIL MO ' I CRY'

LL COOL J comes with a new one 'I Cry' featuring Lil Mo. It sounds a lot like the hook from a song from a few years ago by Ja Rule with the same name. Hmmm.....

Anyways, the synthesized sound doesnt really appeal to me but I've always loved Lil Mo's voice so I think above anything, her singing the hook and bridge is mainly what attracts me to this song. LL's lyrics are extremely shallow too... "If I were a pastor, I'd preach for you girl...." Uhmmm, I'm sure without looking that hard I could find at least a dozen other reasons for a pastor to preach but hey.. maybe I'm digging too deep.

Seems this blogger is extremely critical on new music these days as music nowadays dont hold a candle to the music of yesteryear. But hey, I'd rather live in a lifEtime filled with nostalgia than folk parading around promoting bad music.

I love me some Janet so I will briefly tolerate her inability to choose a less hideous ensemble and focus only on her natural fierceness...

NEWLY LEAKED: JENNIFER HUDSON 'SPOTLIGHT'

The wait is finally over for us to hear something from the Oscar award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson. Her album on J Records will hit shelves in September but in the meantime here is a newly surfaced track entitled 'Spotlight'. The track is slightly compelling but definitely not what were used to hearing from her. Jen has such a big voice but here it sounds a bit stifled to me. I'm sure we can expect some tracks that is classic Jennifer but appealing to those who think she over does it with the vocals, this will excite you.

WEEZY with a number 1 single on his hands comes back with the remix of 'Lollipop' which features Kanye West who raps about Dolly Parton and Doritos all in the same mix. Wayne brings new versus to the remix while keeping the same flava.

I have to admit I love the song even though most times I have no earthly idea what he's saying but hey -- somebody must, it is number 1 after all. And I must add this this a true remix... stays true to the original sound but brings a new flava... not make an entirely new song and throw remix behind it....

NEWLY LEAKED: ASHANTI 'BODY ON ME' FEAT NELLY & AKON

Ashanti comes with another song, 'Body on me', from the new album which is featuring her boo Nelly and Akon. That little instant message sound... not sure if that's part of the track but its annoying none the less. Otherwise, the track is okay. I don't really expect anything mind blowing to come from Ashanti anyways seeing as though personally I think her vocals are just par at best. Akon and Nelly give a song that would otherwise fall flat its much needed flavor.

Lawd have mercy... I didnt realize this child was so young. But anyways, Chris celebrated his 19th birthday at Rebel NYC last night with a host of celeb friends. On the guest list, Rihanna (of course), Teyana Taylor, Lil Mama, Day 26 & Dawn of Danity Kane (you know she was following Que there -- gotta keep those hawk eyes on the young bucks) to name a few.

THE HALLE BERRY FAB AFTER BABY WORKOUT

I'm so about to be on this plan. I mean if dear Halle can get back in pre-fab shape even after getting all fatted up from carrying her baby girl Nahla for 9 months.. then we all can benefit from this. Take a look at her workout plan below....

WORK IT OUT....Halle works out for 60 minutes, five days a week with trainer to include three cardio segments – on the elliptical, as well as kickboxing and then a stairs or hill climb – then also does a strength-training routine that include abdominal work and leg exercises.


EAT IT UP.... Halle also is eating lots of vegetables, lean proteins and complex carbohydrates, as well as drinking a large quantity of water.

Hey, we see it works so let's get to it. I'll let ya'll know how it goes once I finish this bucket of KFC I've got sitting here!!! I'm saying -- nobody said it was an easy road...

AL REYNOLDS HEARTBROKEN

And here we have another episode of the Young, Restless & the Colored. Al Reynolds, Star Jones' ex, is saying that he's heartbroken over the split. In a Myspace post he says that, "I know in my heart that I entered my marriage with love and the best of intentions and leave it with great sadness that it didn't work."

Yea Yea... cry me a river. He's probably upset because he can no longer benefit from the money, attention, connection, cars and fame that comes along with being married to someone with as much clout ( or at least she had some clout at one time) as Star.

In the same Myspace post he shares, "If you think you are having a tough day, may I propose you walk in my shoes for a few hours," he writes. "In my mind, it feels like 'Dump on Al Month.' And I'm not having fun yet. I have been called a gigolo, a freeloader, unemployed, a sham and many other things that don't bear repeating. People on television, radio and the internet have spoken disparagingly of my life, my sexuality, my career and my integrity."

You said it best yourself Al and I guess we all learn a valuable lesson here... keep folks out your business and then you wont have to worry about all the foolishness.

THE NICKARIAH SAGA CONTINUES....

As the newlyweds continue on the quest to find better things to do with their time other than bore us to tears about thier tender love for each other and all that other foolishness (*vomit *vomit)... the public displays of affection continue between the two.

Nick splurged on a 17-carat engagement ring for wifey and just last night rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA to throw a suprise bash for his bride and 100 of thier friends. Needless to say, Mariah was falling all over her brightly colored hooker heels in glee upon her arrival... or so I speculate. According to People mad she said it was, ""The best surprise ever!".

First thing they did was get on a rollar coaster after Mariah, who has been recently seen in photos a little tipsier than usual, downed her glass of wine right before strapping in for the ride. "When they got off the ride, Mariah wanted gum so Nick unwrapped a piece and fed it to her," said a guest. "He is head over heels."

I wont be too quick to say they are head over heels in love but hey who am I to judge thier love, even though I know I was far from in love with my husband after only 6 weeks of courting... I'm just saying.....

NO...HALLE'S NOT ENGAGED

Rumors have been floating around that the ring Halle is sporting on her 4th finger-left hand is an engagement ring from baby daddy Gabriel Aubry. Sources close to the Oscar winner tell People Magazine that its not an engagement ring and that she bought it for herself. The ring is designed by Amrapali and the source says "Halle just saw it and thought it was beautiful so she bought it for herself."

Hey ain't nothing wrong with that. We all know she can afford to spoil herself and besides with that new baby around a little extra blingage never hurt nobody!
