DK ALBUM RELEASE AND SIGNING

Danity Kane's new album 'Welcome to the Dollhouse' was released yesterday and in commemoration the platinum selling artists held a album signing at Best Buy in NYC. The chicks were out in their new "fashion forward" makeovers looking more and more like a girl group as each day passes. But, I will add this -- someone please take Shannon back to a red head and put some track in the front to lengthen those bangs.. PLEASE!!

The CD is the sophomore release for the group and in my opinion -- a better one. Definite club-bangers like 'Damaged' and 'Light Out' but also sporting tracks laced with a pop feel in an effort for international crossover.

BRANDY'S BACK -- DIG THIS

Brandy's been in hiding due to the hoopla surrounding all her legal woes. But, with the focus off of her reckless driving, she's getting back in the studio and making a come back. Bran's new track, featured on the soundtrack for Tyler Perry's "Meet the Brown's", called 'Dig This' has me reminiscent of the Brandy of old, although sounding a little like a leftover track from "Full Moon". The vocal tones/range, the sound, the groove -- well, needless to say I'm diggin' it (pun intended). Definitely eager to see what else she's got up her sleeve following this hiatus.
