Women Falls on Tracks in DC

Although today is quite historic, that's not to say that it went along without any hitches. A 68 year old woman slipped from the platform at about 9:25 a.m. ET, and fell onto the tracks in the city's Chinatown district.

It is still unknown how the woman managed to end up on the tracks but The Secret Service told USA TODAY that the woman did indeed fall on the tracks, but she managed to roll into a crawl space and wasn't hit by the train [reports originaly stated the woman was struck by the train]. Secret Service spokesman Darrin Blackford says the woman's injuries are not life threatening.
