Dang ya'll. Seems like yesterday 'Rock the Boat' was on permanent rotation in my car (and it joins the rotation quite often these days) and Aaliyah was well on her way to icon status becoming a very talented triple threat at an alarmingly fast rate. Today, she would have only been a mere 30 years young and as many celebrate her birthday, let's all remember who she was and the legacy that continues to thrive although she's not here to witness it.
