Diddy plays lawyer in 'CSI:Miami'

As stunned as I am that Diddy has been pegged to do another acting gig, here is the first look of Combs on the set of the crime drama CSI:Miami. In his guest appearance, Diddy plays defense attorney Derek Powell caught in a criminal investigation case that only CSI can solve. Diddy’s episode will appear in February.

Diddy says about the cameo: “The CSI: Miami team is like the Yankees. Me coming on the set, I’m like a Little League player with the Yankees. [David Caruso], he’s like Obi-Wan Kenobi or something! He taught me so much and let me ask questions and protected me. He’s like the coach of the team.”

I had enough of his mediocre acting in Raisin in the Sun, but hey if folks are liking it, what can I say -- whatever floats your boat.
