Album Reviews: Keyshia Cole

Keyshia Cole's 3rd studio album debuts today doting what she is calling a happier, less angry Keysh. Find out what major music critics are saying about the album below:
On Keyshia Cole's 'A Different Me' --

Boston Globe: She’s not trying to take you out with the riptide this time. “You Complete Me” is soulful and vulnerable, with a lack of mistrust and defiance. The acoustic “This Is Us” is sweet, gorgeous, and should be a smash. The ballad “Trust” with Monica has a swirl of strings that complements the two big voices.

The New York Times: This is, she notes, her “sexier side.” But Ms. Cole’s version of swoon is decidedly temperate. Where her voice was once assured and three-dimensional, here, although many of the songs are pleasant, Ms. Cole comes off flat. Tension is what animates her, and there’s hardly a rebuke in sight.

Songs Tasty's feeling: "Playa Cardz Right", "You Complete Me' & "Trust"
