Premiere Fabulous

The premiere for 'The Day The Earth Stood Still' went down this week at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City. Will Smith, wife Jada Pinkett-Smith and kids Willow and Jaden Smith were among the stars frolicking down the red carpet. Little Jaden has a pretty big co-starring role in the film, which hits theaters today.

Willow takes a moment to throw the dueces with rapper Lil Mama. (anyone thinking Willow looks a lot like Ming Lee Simmons besides me?)

Come Out With it Already Mariah

Sources are saying that Mariah Carey-Cannon (or whatever) has canceled her upcoming tour. According to the New York Daily News, "Costume designers and dancers were all called Wednesday and told the tour is off. Most were hysterically crying because they were relying on her for a paycheck this holiday season."

Nickariah have already said that if she became preggers they would keep it a secret and it seems shes doing her best and just that.

I wish she would just come on out with it already instead of ruining the holidays for the 'starving artists' whose husbands cant afford to buy them a multi million dollar vacation home.

Chris Brown Got Milk

Chris Brown is the latest celeb to dawn the Got Milk? ads. Shown above, his ad reads:

Usher's New Baby Whatshisname

Usher and his wife Tameka Raymond welcomed a new little boy into their home on Wednesday @ 2:33am. Weighing in at 5 lbs and 13 oz little baby boy was welcomed by two glowing parents. It is said that Ush stayed by his wife's side the entire time.

The name of the baby had not been released but has now surfaced.

Naviyd Ely Raymond

Uhmm......I'm not even sure what that says or what it means. But anyways, does Ush like being a dad. He says he's "Loving it. Loving every aspect of it. My life improved so much in having a child," he said. "I'm very happy. It's a very promising thing to have a child."

MJ Selling 'Bily Jean' Glove

Michael Jackson's glittery glove, along with 2000 of his other personal belongings, will b e going up for auction early next year. The merchandise will be a part of a 5-day auction by Juliens Auctions. Mike's things will be on display beginning Apr 29 2009 and bids will be taken both in person and online.

Proceeds ( a portion that is) will be donated to MusiCares, a non-profit for struggling musicians. I'm not sure who will be buying this stuff but all of you nostalgic folks out there who long for the re-bleached and scalpeled Mike... looks like this is as close as you'll get to him.

DMX Arrested....Again

Rapper DMX is locked up again after being picked up by the fed for skipping out on a court appearance.

He was due in court Friday but was picked up on Tuesday after an Arizona judge issued a warrant for his arrest for his inattendance. He is being held at the Miami-Dade county jail but will be returned to Phoenix where he is being charged with drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty. DMX plead not-guilty to those charges but has said to be in and out of rehab.

Toni has Tumor Removed

Toni Braxton finally comes out with why she did not dance in the 'Dancing with the Stars' finale. She had a benign tumor removed from her breast the day before the show aired. Seems Toni knew about the tumor but decided not to schedule the surgery until she was eliminated from the show on Oct. 20.

She tells Us Weekly magazine in its issue out Friday: "Getting the boot on the show was actually a blessing in disguise for me. My grandmother on my dad's side died of breast cancer, and I have aunts on both sides that have breast cancer."

Toni's rep's say she is recovering smoothly and will join the rest of the cast on the 'Dancing with the Stars Tour' which begins Dec 17 in San Diego.

Fantasia house in foreclosure

Fantasia's $1.1 million dollar home in Charlotte is going into foreclosure for non-payment of back taxes.

According to Fox News, court documents obtained Tuesday show one of Barrino's houses in Charlotte will be up for auction in January following apparent struggles to pay taxes in 2006. The home is valued at $1.1 million

Fanny wont be homeless though -- she still owns a smaller home in the same city. No one from Fanny's camp will comment but it seems that thsi is just a nice little reality check that celebs(and that term is used loosely) are not ineffected by our current economic status.

Clearly... life is still not a fairy tale for Fanny.

'Notorious' - The Biggie Biopic

Big Poppa is back-- and totin Lil Poppa with him. Biggie's son Christopher Walace Jr joins him on the remake of 'One More Chance' for the soundtrack of the upcoming film 'Notorious'. The movie due on Jan 16 is according to Diddy, Big's longtime friend and partner in the rap game, is "a mother's story," he explained. "[Big's] mother is the driving force of the movie getting done. I wanted the movie to speak for itself, so I haven't been out there overhyping it. But truth be told, I was blown away by the movie. I was entertained by the movie. The movie is what was happening. Can't no critics speak on it. I'm telling you, that's my life right there. That's what it was. That's what was happening."


Paired with the accurate portrayal of his life's happeneingis the heart of all that was Christopher Wallace. Though the circumstances surronding his untimely death have yet to be uncovered, his legacy is one that continues to live on.

Diddy Ditches the Bling

For the sake of us common folk, Diddy has opted to dress "less flashy" in an attempt to not throw his wealth in the faces of people who are stricken by our current economic crisis.

He tells Page Six mag "Out of respect, I’ve been trying to dress less flashy. It’s one thing to be stylish; it’s another to be over-the-top. You gotta know when to hold back and not rub it in."

Seriously Diddy.... no matter how you dress we still know your still a multi-million dollar entreprenuer/mogul. Its a good chance your probably knot hob-nobbing with us common folks anyways, so its not like you need to fit in. But -- even in the midst of my rant, I applaud your efforts.

Mariah Fuels the Preggo Rumors

Mariah Carey was seen coming out of a well-known ob/gyn office on Crecent Blvd in LA -- the same OB that Minnie Driver was said to have seen when she was expecting.

Sources tell Page Six that same out of the office "clutching what looked like a sonogram and being greeted by her entourage with cheers. She was ebullient."

She's constantly being asked about when her little Nickariah bundle of joy is coming but she responds by saying, "People are constantly asking me if I'm pregnant, but I don't like to talk about it too much. I just think about it as the next phase. We'll see."

From all the photos I've seen as of late with her looking a little glowy and little chubby in the face - then her refusing the champagne during her recent appearance on The Ellen Show, is hard to think she may not be pregnant.

I'll tell you what -- that'll be one cute kid.

Tasty Video: Mariah Carey

Mariah's video for 'The Right to Dream' the signature song from her upcoming movie 'Tennessee' premiered last night. Mariah co-wrote the cut with legend Willie Nelson specificially for the movie which premieres last this month.

Definitely not the best we've seen from her and its still definitely keeping up with the lackluster vocal performance we have grown to expect from the aging Carey. I think the movie looks kind of interesting though -- kind of.

She gives us a glimpse into what it was like reuninting with her old producer, Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins and her past struggles, and how these things were incorporated into the project.

It's nice to see that despite all thats gone down with Bran as of late, that she's still in good spirits and taking the imporatance of her craft seriously.

Seems Nick has bought Mariah an early Christmas present. Instead of 'all i want for christmas is you'...Mariah will get more than a happy hubby for the holidays. She will receive a 1.5 million ski lodge with 5-bedrooms in a secluded area in Aspen from her most dutiful husband.

Sources close to Nickariah say that "Nick is clearly still in the honeymoon phase. He’s shocked all their pals by going out of his way to buy Mariah this beautiful sanctuary. He knows Aspen is one of her favorite places in the world so this is his early Christmas present to her."
Points go out to Nick on this one. Nothing says I love you like a large purchase for your wife, from your wife's bank account - ahem. Again, good job there guy

Kim Kardshian, Ambassador?

Since when have reality TV show stars become internationally noteworthy?

I clearly must have missed that memo but its seems that Kim Kardashian may well become the next UN Ambassador for the country of South Africa.
Kim was asked at the Empowerment of Africa dinner if she would be interested in becoming an ambassador because the "UN is looking for more influential 'pop culture' celebs to inspire younger generations to become more involved in international affairs."

She plans to team up with Russell Simmon’s Diamond Empowerment Fund for the effort.

I'm not so sure how I feel about this one but -- they do have a point about pop culture celebs promoting change. Look at how the election turned out and how many new voters were registered just from the celeb buzz around it.

Not sure if Kim K. would be the most "honorable" choice here but I'm not mad at the motivation behind this.

JD on Janet and the Prego Rumors

Jermaine Dupri was stopped on the red carpet at the opening of SLS Hotel in LA to talk about his woman Janet Jackson and the known rumors about her being pregnant as the reason why she canceled her tour.

When asked if she was prego, JD said "No, Ya'll stop saying that, when she gets pregnant everyone will know.”

I'm not sure if that means shes loading up on the prenatal vitamins or somewhere peeing on a stick but seems JD says shes not pregnant but we'll just have to wait until that bumps shows up apparently. Somethings sour in the milk with those two if you ask me.

Janet recently told Sister 2 Sister mag that she was waiting for the right time to be a mom. She said, "At some point it's coming. When? I have no idea. He has been past ready. He's just waiting for me; I'm the one holding up the whole thing. Everyone tells me that there will never be a good time, that I will always be busy, but I just think when the stars are aligned it will happen"

Tyrese is officially Fast and Furious

Sexy as he wants to be Tyrese has confirmed that he will be among the cast to grace the silver screen in the upcoming "Fast and Furious 4" movie -- of which the word 'the' has been removed from its original title. I guess that's supposed to make it a different movie. But whatever..

Anyways, Tyrese also confirmed that the entire cast, which includes Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez, will be back together on screen for the new flick, which is set to be released on June 12, 2009.

OJ Sentenced!

OJ Simpson was sentenced this afternoon to at least 15 in years in a federal prison facility. He speaks in court prior to his sentencing at the Clark County Regional Justice Center Friday, December 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada -- which I guess was supposed to move someone. Nobody trying to hear that ra-ra crap OJ, seriously!

The judge said several times that her ruling had nothing to with his aquittal on the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Athough... I presonally dont think thats necessarily true -- but hey, what do I know.

OJ had this one coming for years now. You dont get away with one crime and think it'll happen twice just because you play nice and say your sorry. Whomp Whomp OJ!

OJ however told the judge.... "It was so much more than stupidity" You aint NEVER lied OJ!!

Initially, I was like "Oh no... not another black and white wanna be motion picture video". But, as soon as Bran wet that weave up and the color came in Wizard of Oz style - I was hooked. She looks fabulous in this video. Personally, I'm feenin for the Brandy of old so I'm looking forward to the album release.

Newly Leaked: Keyshia Cole 'You complete me'

A newly leaked track 'You Complete Me' has surfaced from Keyshia Cole's 3rd studio effort, ' A Different Me', due to be released Decemeber 16.

Now, I love me some K.C but the drum laden track is not Key's best, not nearly by far, but does it a little more for me than the Tupac duet 'Playa Cardz Right' (which although attractive rhythmically, is a poor choice for a lead single and I'm still trying to figure out why it was chosen as such). The lead in on this track is unnecessary frankly and it takes about a minute in to really get into it. These two tracks along with the drama that is her reality show 'This is Me' will definitely peak interest in the project nonetheless. Or interest could be peaked from Neffe dancing around in Trindad with no panties. But.. I digress

I am however feeling the new content of her songs. She seems to have put away the 'you done me wrong and i hate you for life' male diss tracks and is crooning about love and life now.

I'm diggin it.

Check the album when it drops on Decemeber 16th. Meanwhile what you think of the track.

Tasty Video: Nelly

Nelly delivers the video for single 'One and Only' from his nearly non-existant LP 'Brass Knuckles'. Although no one is really caring what Nelly is up to (well - maybe no one except Ashanti) he is still cranking out the videos like he's a chart topper or something.

Both song and video are mediocre at best IMO. We all know what Nelly is capable of and with that in mind it would jsut be a better situation for all of us for him to just go in the studio and try again. I think he can make a comeback but definitely not with anything from this album.

That boy still sexy though...

Beyonce was among one of the performers at the Christmas in Rockefeller Center show last night. She performed the balled 'Ave Maria' from her latest LP 'I Am...Sasha Fierce'. Performed flawlessly and dressed fabulously, B did her thing here.

In addition Bey news, her single 'Single Ladies' hit #1 on Billboard's Top 100 chart last night. This makes it her 5th #1 solo album... more than any Destiny's Child album.

I have to give it to her, shes doing her thing and doing it fabulously.

TYRA BRINGS ON A TRANNY....

Seems Ms. Tyra and the folks over at ANTM has included its first transgender contestant to the popular reality TV show. And just when you thought things were getting a little monotonous, they throw a monkey wrench in the mix.

The contestant, recently sat down with US Weekly in a brief interview.

"One of the 14 girls who will compete on the new season of America’s Next Top Model – which returns to The CW on September 3 – is transgender. “My cards were dealt differently,” Isis, a 22-year-old former receptionist, tells Us Weekly exclusively in its new issue, on newsstands now. Hailing from Prince George’s County, Maryland, Isis identifies herself as “a woman born physically male.”Will she be a role model? “I like to help people, but I’m here to follow my dreams,” she tells Us.The inclusion of Isis is being hailed by GLAAD president Neil Giuliano as “an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television. “We applaud Tyra Banks and The CW for making this historic visibility of transgender people possible,” Giuliano said.

OK so hey, what ever float your boat. But she is from my hometown... and I guess that gets her half a snap. Should make for quite the drama that's for sure

ASHANTI ON SOUNDCHECK

ASHANTI performed on Walmart's Soundcheck in NY, debuting some tracks off her newest LP 'The Declaration' and some oldies but goodies. Seeing as though Ashanti isn't really the musical powerhouse, the tracks from the new album might just be something to look out for. I know the single getting radio play now, 'The Way that I Love You', impressed me more than I thought....especially when the video hit airwaves.

LAILA ALI is looking fabulous seen here cradling her baby bump at the A Place Called Home Achievement Awards luncheon in Beverly Hills. She is positively glowing and I bet that little one will be just as gorgeous. I must toot my own horn and say that I am a member of the Fab Preggy Club having looked just as fab myself... MEL B & MEAGAN GOOD attended the Spike TV’s 2nd Annual “Guys Choice” Awards this weekend in LA.
Meagan has been lookin a little homely these last few appearances here... I'm not too sure what's going on with baby girl but if she's gonna come out the house like this, we need to fire her stylist PRONTO. Put my vote in with Mel on this one.

CHRIHANNA'S DIAMONDS

After spending months denying their romance, singers Chris Brown and Rihanna are getting serious... about their gift giving. According to OK! magazine, C Bizzle recently spent $100,000 on two ruby and diamond necklaces for his 20-year-old pop star girlfriend. Rihanna reportedly returned the thought with a blinged out cross pendant necklace for Brown.

“Rihanna gave specific instructions about Chris’ gift,” designer Jason Arasheben told OK!. “She was very particular about wanting the cross to match his other jewelry.

The jeweler also sold 19-year-old Chris the gift for his Barbados-born beauty.
“He went for the heart theme,” Arasheben explained. “He said, ‘She’s going to love this because she loves hearts.’”
